Documentation overview

Projects

A project is a strategy executed step by step: a set of tasks with owners, dates and channels, shared by everyone who works on the brand. Generate one from a strategy or a marketing plan, or start a blank project and add tasks by hand. Every task's due date also shows on the Calendar.

Who sees a project

A project belongs to the brand it was made for, not to the person who made it. Everyone who can open the brand sees its projects and tasks, can move tasks along and tick them done. Renaming or deleting the project itself stays with the person who created it – if that is not you, the delete control says so instead of pretending.

The task panel

Click any task to open it. The top row holds status, priority and a Mark blocked switch; below the description sit the details a task carries: channel, type, due date and time, estimate, assignee and tags. Anyone who can open the brand can assign a task to anyone in the organization – the assignee shows with their picture – and assigning rings that person's bell (and reaches their inbox if they switched Your notifications, by email on in Settings). Opening the notification lands on the task inside its project.

Below those sit The work, References, Comments and Activity.

The work on a task

Right under the description, The work names what the task delivers – its type, as set on the task – and offers one door to make it. The task's type picks the studio and the button names the outcome: Draft in Writing Studio for an article, a guide or a methodology page; Draft the post, Draft the email, Build the page, Script the video and so on for the other formats; Start the work in Chat when the task has no type. Writing Studio opens with the full brief – the task, its details, the project and its brief, the tactic it belongs to, channel, format, due date, reference links and the linked library piece. Every other door starts a chat for the task with the same brief and the right tool named. Work it in Chat sits beside the studio door, and one line under the pair says why this door was picked; change the task's type and the door changes with it. A task made from a marketing plan or a strategy usually names its tool already – the plan knows the platform's toolkit – and then the door is that tool, exactly.

From then on the task keeps the record. A draft saved from that studio or that chat shows up under The work with who made it, when, and its review state, and Open the draft takes you to it; the first draft also becomes the task's linked piece. Chat threads started from the task are listed as facts: yours with Continue, a teammate's with their name and when it started – a thread belongs to the person who started it. Start another draft and Work it in Chat sit under the record.

A chat started from a task shows a Working on strip at the top – the task, its project, format and due date – with Back to the task.

References, comments and activity

References holds the library piece the task delivers or depends on and any outside links – the published post, a doc, a ticket. Link from library opens a picker scoped to this brand's library and the whole team's work in it: a type rail with counts, an Approved only cut, and a search across titles, copy, platforms and people. Add link takes any web address with an optional label; a bare domain gets https:// added.

Comments is the same thread the library has: @-mention a teammate, reply, resolve. Mentions and replies ring the bell, and reach the inbox too for anyone who has Your notifications, by email switched on in Settings. Opening a notification lands on that task inside its project.

Activity is the task's trail, newest first: created, moved between columns, assigned, priority and due date changes, blocked and cleared, links and linked pieces, threads started, drafts saved – each with who and when.
