Library
The Library is everything made for a brand, in one place – every post, email, article, image, video, report and plan the platform has produced, plus the files you upload. Open it from the sidebar under Library.
It belongs to the brand, not to one person. Everyone who can open the brand sees the same Library, and in a shared workspace every item carries the name of the person who made it.
What you see
The headline tells you how much there is and how much arrived this week. A rail on the left counts the Library by kind, and the creations take the rest of the page:
- Content – things that go out: social posts, emails, articles, ad copy, press releases, banners, decks.
- Assets – images and videos.
- Research – website scans, SEO and keyword reports, competitor reports, audits, analyses.
- Plans – strategies, marketing plans, journey maps, notes.
- Files – documents, images and videos you uploaded.
Click a kind to see only that. Under the kind you picked, its types are listed with the number of each – Images, Social posts, Strategies and so on; More… holds the rest. Below the kinds, Collections holds your Favorites and the brand's folders, and in a shared workspace People lets you see what particular teammates made.
Finding something
- Search looks inside the text, not only at titles. A word from the middle of a strategy finds the strategy; a piece of a file name finds the file.
- All time narrows to the last 7, 30 or 90 days, or this year.
- Favorites, in the rail, shows only what you starred.
- New folder, in the rail, makes a folder; a folder's own menu renames or removes it, and removing one keeps everything that was in it.
- Newest switches the order to oldest, by title, or by type. The two icons at the right switch between cards and a list.
- Pages turn at the top and at the bottom of the grid, so the next page is a click away wherever you are.
Every filter is in the page address, so you can send a colleague a link that opens exactly what you are looking at.
Opening something
Click a card and a panel opens on the right with the piece itself, when it was made, whether it was published, and its actions:
- Open takes you to where it lives – an email opens in Email Studio, a video in Video Studio, a landing page in the builder, an article in its full view.
- Discuss hands it to chat, which reads the actual content – ask what is in it, how to use it, what to tighten, or for a stronger variant.
- Copy the text, download the file, star it, move it to a folder, or delete it. Only the person who made a thing can delete it.
- How did it perform? records what worked and what did not. Those ratings feed What's Working.
- Comments for the team, and a History of earlier versions where a piece has been edited – any version can be restored.
Hovering a card offers Preview, Copy or Download, and Delete without opening the panel. Ticking several cards shows a bar at the bottom to move, download or delete them together.
Uploading files
Upload files in the header, or drop files anywhere on the page. A document you upload here – PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CSV, text or Markdown – is read on arrival and is readable in chat the moment it lands: open it and choose Discuss, or ask for it by name in any chat. The card says what was read, and says "not readable" when there was nothing to read, as with a scanned PDF.
There is no storage limit. Settings → Usage shows how much you hold.
Where things come from
Every card names its origin – Chat, Agents, Video Studio, Image Center, Writing Studio, Email Studio, a journey, the Chrome extension – and social posts and ads carry the glyph of their channel. Nothing here is a campaign: a campaign is what you run on the Campaigns page, and it uses the pieces the Library holds.
