Ad Compliance Checker

Pre-check an ad's words against Google, Meta, LinkedIn or Amazon policies before you submit it: what the platform would refuse, what it allows only with conditions, and what its reviewers flag – each quoted in place, with a compliant rewrite you can apply.

Open it from Studios → Advertising & PPC → Ad Compliance Checker.

Write or pick the ad

Choose where it runs – a Google search ad, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn or Amazon Sponsored Brands – and the fields change to that platform's: headlines, descriptions and display paths for Google; primary text, headline and description for Meta; and so on. Each field counts its characters the way the platform does. Check an ad from your library fills the fields from a PPC Campaign Builder ad group or saved search ad copy.

Add the market – restricted categories and required wording differ by country – and check the industry from your profile.

What is checked, and how

As you type, rules run on the words: the platform's character limits (and where the feed cuts text off), Google's editorial rules, placeholders left in, repeated punctuation and words in capitals, phone numbers in Google ad text, Meta's rule against asserting a viewer's personal attributes, restricted areas (gambling, financial services, health, alcohol, dating), claims that need proof, and competitors' names. Your industry's guidance words show as advice – your own brand rules decide.

Review the ad adds what rules cannot see: a misleading implication, a claim that needs proof in context, a sensitive framing. The review is told what the rules already found, so it does not repeat them. It costs the price shown beside the button and is saved to your library.

Read the result

The headline says where the ad stands – would be refused, allowed with conditions, things to look at, or no problems found in the words – decided by what was found, never by a score. The ad preview underlines every flagged phrase. Each finding names the policy, the line it is on, the exact words and why; Use this replaces the line with the review's compliant rewrite, and the rules re-check it at once. Your brand's own writing rules are checked underneath.

This is a pre-check of the words, not a promise of approval or legal advice: each platform reviews every ad itself, images and landing page included. The review lists what the platform will also check.
