Are you in the AI answers your buyers read, and can AI bots and agents use your site?

It asks your questions where buyers ask them, reads your site the way AI search bots and agents do, and lists what to change in order – no score, and no number that wasn't read.

Overview

What is GEO – AI answers?

GEO – AI answers asks the questions your buyers ask where they ask them: ChatGPT search, Gemini, Claude with web search and Google's AI Mode and AI Overviews, with Perplexity to add. For every answer it counts whether you are named, where you stand and which sites are cited, your own pages included. For each third-party page the answers cite, it reads the page and says whether it names you, so "you are not on that list" is a read, not a guess. It reads your site the way the machines do. robots.txt is read for every AI search bot, training bot and agent the way the robots.txt standard says, and your pages are fetched as their user agents, so a block, a firewall or a challenge page shows. It compares the words in each page's HTML with the rendered page, finds facts hidden in tabs, PDFs or images, and checks your structured data, snippet controls, llms.txt and IndexNow key. Kept out of search, the sitemap and titles come from your latest Site Audit rather than a second crawl. It checks whether AI agents that act for a person can get three things done on your site: find the price, contact or book, and sign up. Each task page, found from your home page's links, is read the two ways agents read a page – as HTML without scripts, the way ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google read a link they open, and in a real browser, the way ChatGPT Atlas, Claude in Chrome, Comet and Copilot in Edge work. It looks for controls without a name, a CAPTCHA or login on the way, and a layout that moves after it loads. The report opens with one line about your brand and where you stand in eight areas – Fix now, Watch, Clean or Not read, each with what it was read from – then the fixes in order, each with why, what to change, where and the evidence behind it. A fix ends in an action: a page brief to write from, a review request or pitch for the sites the answers cite, the lines for robots.txt or llms.txt, a structured data fix opened in SEO Meta & Schema, or a task in Projects. It says what no outside check can see. Google says no third-party tool has access to its ranking or AI systems, so the answers are a sample and the tool never promises a place in one. Claude is read with web search through its API, because no outside read of the Claude app exists. Copilot's citations come only from your Bing Webmaster Tools export, and agent visits only from a server log; agents in a normal browser can't be told apart from people anywhere. There is no GEO score.

Key benefits

Why marketers choose GEO – AI answers.

The answers where buyers ask

Your questions asked on ChatGPT search, Gemini, Claude with web search and Google's AI Mode and AI Overviews: who is named, where you stand, which sites and which of your pages are cited. The answers are your AI Tracker's own run, so both read one trend.

Can AI search bots reach you

robots.txt read for each AI search bot, training bot and agent the way the standard says, and your pages fetched as their user agents, so a block, a firewall or a challenge page shows before it costs you.

Can AI agents get things done

Find the price, contact or book, sign up: each read without scripts and in a real browser, with every control that has no name, any CAPTCHA or login on the way, and the page that is empty without scripts.

What to change, in order

Each fix says why, what to change, where and the evidence, labelled official, best practice, measured or unverified, and ends in an action: a brief to write from, a pitch, the file lines, or a task.

Your files, only where they need it

robots.txt, llms.txt, structured data and IndexNow, each read as it is. A file that is fine says Nothing to change; lines to add appear only when something needs changing.

Priced on what it reads

The price for what you ticked shows before you start. When the check ends you pay for what it read and the rest comes back; a check that fails is refunded in full, and opening a check again costs 0 credits.

How it works

How GEO – AI answers works

01

Pick what it reads

The brand's site is filled in. Choose your 10 or 25 most visited pages from your site's own page list, the market to ask from, and the places buyers ask. The questions are the ones your AI Tracker asks.

02

Run the check

In a few seconds you see whether AI search bots and agents can reach and read your site; the answers follow within a couple of minutes. Leave the page and come back: the check carries on and is saved.

03

Read where you stand

Eight lines: in the answers, access, readable, AI agents, answer-ready, structured data, llms.txt and measurement. Each says Fix now, Watch, Clean or Not read, and what it was read from.

04

Make the changes

Work down the fixes: write the page from its brief, pitch the sites the answers cite, copy the robots.txt or llms.txt lines, or open a structured data fix in SEO Meta & Schema.

05

Keep watching

Check again after you publish a change, and switch on the weekly check: it runs with your AI Tracker's, so you get one alert a week when a bot is newly blocked or you drop out of an answer.

Use cases

Real-world applications.

A brand missing from the answers

Scenario

Buyers ask ChatGPT and Google's AI Mode for the best tools in your category, and your competitors come up while you don't.

Solution

See which questions leave you out, who leads them and which sites the answers cite. For each cited page the tool reads whether it names you, and the fix is a real listing, a review request or a pitch to that page's editors, plus a brief for the page your site is missing.

A site AI bots can't read

Scenario

Your site is built in the browser, and nobody knows what an AI bot sees when it opens a page.

Solution

Each page's HTML is compared with the rendered page, word for word, so a page that is empty without scripts shows with both counts, and the fix says what to serve in the HTML.

Getting ready for AI agents

Scenario

People start asking agents to find a price or book a demo for them, and you don't know whether an agent can do it on your site.

Solution

The three tasks are read without scripts and in a real browser: the controls without a name and the name to give each, any CAPTCHA or login on the way, and the facts an agent's reader would not reach.

Deciding about AI training

Scenario

The team wants to decline AI training without dropping out of AI search.

Solution

robots.txt is read bot by bot. Decline AI training gives the lines for the five training bots only, and says plainly that declining training does not remove you from ChatGPT, Claude, Google or Apple search.

Best practices

Getting the most from a check

Ask from the market your buyers are in: answers differ from one country to the next

Fix access first: an AI search bot that can't fetch a page can't cite it

Put the key fact near the top of each page and in the HTML itself, before any script runs

Get listed on the sites the answers cite with real listings, real reviews and real answers given as yourselves, never paid or fake mentions

Name every button, link and field, so an agent can tell what each one does

Leave security on: where a CAPTCHA protects a form, give agents a path that needs none, such as your e-mail address in the page text

Check again after you publish a change, and keep the weekly check on
