At The AI CMO, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your personal information from our systems in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations.

ROGA AI LIMITED ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to processing all data deletion requests in a timely and transparent manner. This page provides comprehensive information about what data we delete, what we may retain for legal purposes, and how to submit a deletion request.

Important: Data deletion is permanent and irreversible. Please review this page carefully before submitting your request.

2. What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request deletion of your data, we will permanently remove the following information from our active systems:

2.1 Account Information

  • Your account profile and login credentials
  • Business contact information (name, email address, phone number)
  • Company information and business details
  • Account preferences and settings
  • Profile customizations and user preferences

2.2 Generated Content

  • All AI-generated marketing content (ads, emails, strategies, etc.)
  • Marketing briefs and prompts you submitted
  • Business profiles and target audience information
  • Campaign data and performance metrics you uploaded
  • Generated images, videos, and other media files
  • Saved campaigns and strategies
  • Content feedback and ratings

2.3 Integration Data

  • OAuth tokens and refresh tokens for third-party integrations
  • Data synchronized from Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other connected platforms
  • Social media connection data and publishing history
  • Email marketing integration data (Mailchimp, etc.)
  • E-commerce integration data (Shopify, etc.)
  • All insights and recommendations derived from integrated data

2.4 Usage Data

  • Account activity logs and usage history
  • Feature usage statistics tied to your account
  • Credit consumption history
  • Session data and browsing history within our platform

2.5 Communication Data

  • Support tickets and customer service correspondence
  • Email communications and notifications
  • Feedback and survey responses
  • Chat history with our support team

3. What Data May Be Retained

In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or legal obligations:

3.1 Legal and Compliance Requirements

  • Financial transaction records required for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years)
  • Payment information processed by our payment provider (Stripe) per their retention policies
  • Business tax identification and VAT records where required by law
  • Records necessary to comply with anti-money laundering and fraud prevention regulations
  • Data required to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

3.2 Anonymized and Aggregated Data

  • Anonymized usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you
  • Aggregated analytics data used for service improvement
  • De-identified data used for AI model training (with no personal identifiers)

3.3 Backup Systems

  • Data in backup systems will be deleted according to our backup retention schedule (typically 30-90 days)
  • Backup data is not accessible or used for any operational purposes
  • All backup data will be permanently deleted once the retention period expires

3.4 Security and Fraud Prevention

  • Information necessary to prevent fraud or abuse of our Services
  • Security logs related to account compromises or security incidents
  • Data required to enforce our Terms of Service

4. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data through the following methods:

4.1 Method 1: Email Request

Send an email to our Data Protection Officer at privacy@theaicmo.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."

Please include in your email:

  • Your full name and business name (if applicable)
  • The email address associated with your account
  • A clear statement that you wish to delete your account and all associated data
  • Any specific data categories you want deleted (or "all data" for complete deletion)
  • Confirmation that you understand the consequences of data deletion

4.2 Method 2: Account Settings (If Available)

If you still have access to your account, you may be able to initiate a deletion request directly from your Account Settings page. Look for the "Delete Account" or "Data Deletion" option in the Privacy section of your account settings.

4.3 Required Information

To process your deletion request, we need to verify your identity. We may request:

  • Proof of identity (government-issued ID may be required in some cases)
  • Confirmation of email address ownership (we'll send a verification link)
  • Answer to account security questions (if previously set up)
  • Recent account activity information to prevent fraudulent deletion requests

5. Third-Party Integration Data

When you request data deletion, we will also handle data from your third-party integrations:

5.1 OAuth Connections

  • We will immediately revoke all OAuth tokens stored with Nango.dev
  • All connections to Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Mailchimp, and Shopify will be disconnected
  • Data synced from these platforms will be deleted from our systems
  • AI-generated insights based on third-party data will be permanently removed

5.2 Important Note About Third-Party Platforms

Please note: Deleting your data from The AI CMO does not automatically delete data from the third-party platforms you connected (Google, Facebook, etc.). We only delete the data we collected from those platforms.

If you want to remove data from those platforms, you must:

  • Visit each platform's privacy settings directly
  • Revoke The AI CMO's access permissions in their security settings
  • Follow their respective data deletion procedures

5.3 Nango.dev Data Processing

OAuth tokens stored by Nango.dev on our behalf will be deleted within 48 hours of your deletion request being processed. Nango.dev acts as our data processor and follows our instructions for data deletion.

6. Deletion Timeline

We are committed to processing deletion requests promptly:

6.1 Standard Timeline

  • Within 48 hours: We will acknowledge receipt of your deletion request
  • Within 7 days: Identity verification will be completed
  • Within 30 days: All data will be deleted from active production systems
  • Within 90 days: All data will be removed from backup systems

6.2 Confirmation

Once your data has been deleted, we will send you a confirmation email to the email address you used to submit the deletion request. This confirmation will include:

  • Confirmation that your account has been deleted
  • List of data categories that were deleted
  • Information about any data retained for legal compliance
  • Expected timeline for backup data removal

6.3 Delays

In some cases, deletion may be delayed if:

  • We need additional information to verify your identity
  • Your account has outstanding financial obligations
  • Your data is subject to a legal hold or investigation
  • We are required to retain data to comply with legal obligations

We will inform you of any delays and the reasons for them.

7. Consequences of Data Deletion

Before requesting data deletion, please understand the following consequences:

7.1 Loss of Access

  • Your account will be permanently closed and cannot be recovered
  • You will lose access to all generated content, campaigns, and strategies
  • All saved work, templates, and customizations will be permanently deleted
  • You will not be able to log in or use any Services

7.2 Financial Implications

  • Active subscriptions will be canceled immediately
  • Unused credits will be forfeited with no refund (per our no-refund policy)
  • You will not receive refunds for any prepaid subscription periods
  • Outstanding invoices must still be paid

7.3 Content Loss

  • All AI-generated content will be permanently deleted
  • Generated images and videos will be removed from our storage
  • You will not be able to recover any content after deletion
  • We recommend downloading any important content before requesting deletion

7.4 Creating a New Account

After data deletion, you may create a new account using the same email address, but:

  • You will start fresh with no history or previous content
  • Previous subscription terms and pricing may not be available
  • Free trial credits may not be available if previously used
  • All integrations and connections will need to be set up again

8. Identity Verification

To protect your data from unauthorized deletion requests, we require identity verification:

8.1 Verification Process

When you submit a deletion request, we will:

  • Send a verification email to the email address associated with your account
  • Require you to click a unique verification link within 48 hours
  • May request additional proof of identity for high-value accounts
  • Confirm account ownership through security questions or recent activity verification

8.2 Security Measures

  • We will never process deletion requests from unverified sources
  • Requests submitted through third-party services may require additional verification
  • If we suspect fraudulent activity, we will contact you directly before processing
  • Deletion requests for business accounts may require authorization from account administrators
